Prejury Experience

This is my very first time being in front of a jury so I don’t have any experiences from the past. Jury listens to you while you are trying to explain yourself and your models. That was an exciting experience. 🙂

We perpared diagrams and we put our drawing behind us. We also put our model in front of us and explained our whole process.

Orthographic Projection

“Orthographic projection is a means of representing a three-dimensional object in two dimensions. It ıs a form of parallel projection, where all projection lines are orthogonal to the projection plane.”

After learning what is a set of orthographic set we draw a tape cutter with its specific proportions. I lost my eyes!

Collage 1 // 2

We picked two pages from a book; one with a picture on it and one with text. We have two different collage studies in which we can observe different design qualities. We did one with our hands cutting and sticking which demands more craftmanship and the other with photoshop. There we can chance opacity and have overlap of different selected layers.

Photo Essay

We took an architectural touur to Ulus. We are expected to give specific attention to the texture of the building which is one of their characteristic. Then, combining images of buildings with these special qualities provide me to design that poster.
