For the first jury, we were starting to search for ways to enhance the community life. We, as Janus Architecture, decided to achieve it through enhancing the communal interaction by developing the common and public spaces of the site. Servi Street used to be an important street of Ankara which leads itself to Ankara Castle. So, we thought we can revive the old fabric of the street; make it great, important again, working like an important social space. So, Servi Street is the spine of our design and it is more then just an horizontal street. It is more like a system of circulation for the public use; it is both a horizontal and vertical street. So, while Servi gets its three-dimensionality, it also forms our public spaces. Then the mass of our design formed itself accordingly. So, the design has different masses working with the same Servi public influence on different levels.
